Chicken Cordon Bleu Chowder

Chicken cordon bleu chowder is chicken, ham, swiss cheese and chives in a roasted potato garlic soup broth.This is a hearty chowder that works well with a salad and a loaf of crusty bread.
Ingredients -
 
1 cup cubed Cooked Chicken
1 cup diced Cooked Ham
2 cans (18.5 ounces each) Roasted Potato Garlic Chowder
1 cup shredded Swiss Cheese (4 ounces)
1 tablespoon chopped Fresh Chives
 
Preparation:
 
1. In large saucepan over medium heat, cook chicken, ham and chowder 5 minutes, stirring frequently.

2. Stir in cheese, slowly.

3. Cook additional 2 minutes, stirring constantly, until cheese has melted.

4. Serve in individual bowls.

5. Sprinkle with chives.

Roasted Potato Garlic Chowder
Use an equal quantity New England clam chowder, add 1/2 cup of milk or water, and add a small amount of roasted or fresh garlic to the chowder.
